| The European Swift Kit Installation Tips Front Motor; - Motor Wires on Right Side - Remove wires from 5 pin connector (Motor side) to install washers and nuts (very thin eye glass type screwdriver required) - Two washers each side of front fork (inboard to prevent motor binding). - Control Panel (L side) - Speed sensor (R side) - PAS (L side).Sensor must be <1/8inch apart. PAS can be Disabled The Bolt Kit Installation Tips Front Motor; - Motor Wires on Right Side - Remove wires from 5 pin connector (Motor side) to install washers and nuts (very thin eye glass type screwdriver required) - One washer/Torque Arm each side of front fork (inboard of Front Fork) - Control Panel (L side) - Speed sensor (R side) - PAS (L side). Sensor must be <1/8inch apart from magnet. PAS can be Disabled LCD DISPLAY NOTES: - if you hold down the lower power level button (for 4-5 seconds), you can override the PAS and Throttle. - Speed Pick up Sensor must be <1/8 inch from Magnet - Power level 2-3 is very comfortable pedaling up hills and keeps the wattage down on your system to conserve energy. ULTIMATE TORQUE KIT Internal Controller can overheat; temporary thermal cut off with 48v under load/stress. Green wire is positive to Battery, Yellow wire is negative to Battery. We are now trying this motor with 48v on a custom Chopper frame for Beach areas (mostly flat). Will report if problems arise. Picture to come November 2011. |
